Eric Débris aka DoctorMix is enjoying a successful career as a record producer, mixer, recording engineer, mastering engineer since 1979 as well a rock D.J. since 2002. Since August 2015 all tracking is done at Alnico Studio in South Austin, while most of the mixing and mastering is done at his private studio, formally in South Austin, now relocated to Lockhart Texas. 

He's also the singer with original “Electro Punk” inventors Metal Urbain, the first band ever to mix drum machines and synths with guitars back in 1976, Metal Urbain and later Doctor Mix and the Remix have influenced bands worldwide (Jesus and Mary Chain, Primal Scream, Big Black..) and generating the whole synth-punk movement in France. He is the only member to survive all incarnations of the band, he first assumed synths and rhythm machine duties in 1976/1978, before also taking up the lead vocals when the original singer left, while still running the machines.

Formally from Paris France is now living in Austin Texas, where he played a series of DJ gigs at the Aviary (residency), Stay Gold, the Firehouse, Justine's Brasserie (14th of July Bad Reputation), The Spider House, the Volstead, the Longbranch Inn and at the Elysium (Pancakes and Booze Art Show).
